"GS8 Learning Scheme" was developed by Hong Kong Education Limited. The Company had cooperated actively with the tertiary institutions such as the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Education University of Hong Kong for many years to research and develop the most suitable online learning courses for the education sector in Hong Kong, while insisting on the objective of serving schools and students. Starting from the set up of the parent company in 1996, we have served 1200 schools and over 450000 students.

「常識8寶箱」由香港教育出版事業有限公司創立。我們多年來積極與各大專院校合作,包括香港中文大學、香港大學、 香港理工大學及香港教育大學等,一同研發香港學界所殷切需求的網上課程,並以服務學校及學生為主要方針。 母公司於1996年成立至今,服務學校及學生達1200所及超過450000人。


 
Aims  課程目的

Stimulate students' learning interests in General Studies and help students acquire a good foundation of Liberal Studies for secondary education.

Course Design  課程設計

The Course is designed according to a series of primary school curriculum guidelines compiled by the Hong Kong Curriculum Development Council. The course content does not only lie on the school curriculum but is also closely related to the daily life. To enlarge the scope of acquiring knowledge and nurture the ability of independent learning, our Course especially strengthens students' exploratory and researching abilities in the 3 areas including "Individuals", "Society and the People" and "Scientific and Technological Education".


課程乃根據《香港課程發展議會》為小學所編訂的一系列課程指引而設計,內容不但針對學校課程,更與學生的日常生活息息相關。 本課程特別加強學生在「個人」、「社會及人民」、「科學教育和科技教育」三個學習領域的探究和研習能力,藉以擴闊學生的 知識吸收層面,培養他們的獨立學習能力。

電子學習-教育局全面發展及推介

"e-education" can be regarded as a technology-based learning method. Students can use the learning materials written by professional educators on specific websites through the Internet. Students can master a variety of knowledge and skills by applying the technology in their study.

Apart form enriching the learning content and raising the convenience of study, "e-education" leads the innovation of teaching methods and accelerate the rate of changing the teaching mode. Learning is no longer teacher-oriented or limited by the location of classrooms. Learners can do their study more independently and ultimately will achieve the objective of life-long learning.

顧名思義,「電子學習」可被視為一種以科技為基礎(Technology-based)的學習。學生可通過網際網路的方式,於特定的網站使用 由教學者編寫的教材,同步進行有系統的學習,從而掌握各種知識及技能。

「電子學習」不僅豐富了學習的內容和增加了學習的便利性,同時也帶動了教學方法的革新,促進整個教學過程的範式轉移。過去以老師 為主體的教學模式已逐漸變成以學習者為中心,「課室」也不再受時空、地域所限制,學習者能變得更自主,達至終身學習的目標。
